Nishikant Traders

We are located right in Village Hanumanthvadi, over in Ward 02. If you know the main market area, you will find us pretty easily since we are just a short walk from the center of things. Being in Taluka Kaveri means we see a lot of the same faces every week, which is nice. Our building isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle all the daily trade stuff that comes through. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to ask about prices and what’s currently sitting in the warehouse. The main market gets very busy on certain days, especially when people from the surrounding villages come in for their weekly shopping. We usually have a bit of tea around mid-morning while waiting for the delivery trucks to arrive. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy after a heavy rain, which slows down the unloading, but we manage to get through it. It's mostly about keeping track of the inventory and making sure the accounts are right at the end of the day. There’s always some noise from the street, tractors passing by or people shouting to their friends. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a honest place where work gets done. Most of the neighbors know us by name, and we know theirs too. It feels right being part of the local market here in the village.
