Nabhowani Social Foundation

Nabhowani Social Foundation is situated in Rajlaxmi Nagar over in Kolhapur. We are tucked away in Block A24 at Sno. 916. Kolhapur is a place with a lot of heart, and we like to think we fit right in with that. We didn't start this foundation to become famous or make a lot of money. It was more about seeing small problems in our neighborhood and wanting to fix them. Whether it's a broken street light or helping a family through a tough patch, we try to be there. Our office isn't much to look at, just a regular room with some desks and a lot of files. We spend a lot of time drinking coffee and talking to the people who walk in. You don't need an appointment to talk to us. We’re just local people, born and raised in this area. We know the streets of Rajlaxmi Nagar like the back of our hands. Some people think social work has to be big and loud, but we find that the small things matter most. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we wonder if we’re making a dent, but then someone says thanks and it feels worth it. We are just a small part of the Kolhapur community, doing our bit day after day.
