Mahabal Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is based out in Akiwat. That’s in the Shirol taluka of Kolhapur. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but we like the space we have. Most of the folks working here are locals from the nearby villages. We do a lot of technical work related to the environment, though it’s mostly just us looking at samples and writing down numbers in logs. The lab equipment takes up a lot of room. It gets pretty quiet out here in the evenings once the shift ends. We’ve been at this for some time now, slowly adding more tools as we need them. The 416106 area is mostly fields and quiet roads, which is nice compared to the big city noise. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the machines. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a place for work. We deal with various engineering tasks, mostly trying to solve problems for other companies that have waste or water issues. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Being in Kolhapur district means we see a lot of different people coming through for advice. We just do our best with what we have at Mahabal Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. and keep things moving along. It is a steady way of life in our corner of the world.
