Karveer Charity Foundation

Karveer Charity Foundation is right in the heart of the old city in Kolhapur. We are in D Ward, over in Juna Budhawar Peth. The address is 2384, and it’s a place that feels like it’s been there forever. This part of Maharashtra has a lot of character, and our office is no different. It’s not a modern building by any means. We have old wooden doors and the kind of atmosphere you only get in these historic neighborhoods. We spend our time dealing with the local community and keeping our paperwork in order. It’s often quite busy outside with people moving through the Peth, but inside we just focus on the job. We don’t have any marketing people or fancy suits here. It’s usually just us in comfortable clothes, sitting around the desks and figuring things out. We take our work seriously but we don’t feel the need to be formal or stuffy about it. A lot of our day is spent talking to folks who stop by to ask questions. We’ve got a lot of files and a couple of old computers that we use to keep track of everything we do. The 416002 area is where we belong, and we don’t really see ourselves moving to a modern office park anytime soon. We like the noise of the market and the fact that we’re right in the middle of everything. It’s an honest, local setup and we’re happy with that arrangement for our daily work here in Kolhapur.
