Kamble Guruji Foundation

Kamble Guruji Foundation is located at House Number 2361 in Kawathemahankal. We are basically operating out of Ramesh Tayappa Kambale’s place. If you are from around here, you know K. Mahankal is a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We are not some big city organization with a fancy lobby. It is just a house where we have set aside some space to do our work. We started this to honor a legacy and keep things moving in the right direction for the local folks. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors or handling small issues that pop up in the village. It is not a 9-to-5 kind of job. Sometimes someone comes by late in the evening because they know where we are. We do not have a lot of equipment, just the basics to keep our records straight. The postman knows us well since he has been delivering here for years. Life in Kawathemahankal moves at its own pace, and we have learned to work with that. We do not try to rush things if they are not ready. It is about being there for the community in a way that makes sense for us. Some days are slow, and other days it feels like everyone needs something at once. We just put on the kettle, sit down, and try to get through the list. It is simple, honest work, and we are glad to be doing it right from this house.
