Indrajit & Company

Out in Village Khanderajuri, things move at a different pace. Indrajit & Company is based right here, near Malgaon Road in Tehsil Miraj. It’s a rural spot, so we are surrounded by fields and open space. We’ve been here at the post for quite a while. Our work involves a lot of coordination with the local farmers and builders. We don't have a website or a social media page because we don't really need one. Everyone in the village knows where we are. If you follow the Malgaon Road, you can't miss the site. We spend a lot of time outdoors, dealing with the elements. When the monsoon comes, we have to cover everything up and hope the wind doesn't blow the sheets away. It's a lot of physical labor and sometimes my back hurts at the end of the day, but that’s the life we chose. We have a few guys who have been working with us for years, and they know the routine better than anyone. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the district. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the sound of the machinery every now and then. We are just local people working for other local people. We keep the gate open most of the day so people can just walk in and talk to us.
