Our place for Capital Creations Ltd Ichalkaranji is out in Sulkud, which is a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main Kolhapur city. It’s technically in Kagal taluk, but everyone around here knows it because of the Ichalkaranji connection. Being in Maharashtra, especially in this belt, means we deal with a lot of local stuff. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a practical building where the business happens. We’ve got the usual tables and chairs, and there is always dust coming in from the road because of the tractors and trucks passing by. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always on full blast. Most of the staff comes from nearby villages. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If someone has a problem, they just walk into the main room and talk about it. Sometimes the power goes out for a couple of hours and we just sit outside or wait it out with some chai.
