Easy And Useful

Easy And Useful is a little spot at number 32 in the Ashwini Society. We are located right on Station Road, which means there is a constant flow of people heading to and from the trains. The name of the shop is pretty much what we try to be. We sell things that people find helpful in their daily lives. It might be small household items or just simple tools that are hard to find elsewhere in the society. The shop is on the ground floor, and we have a small porch where we keep some of the larger items. It is mostly a one-man show here. I open up early in the morning when the first few commuters start walking by. The space inside is packed with shelves from the floor to the ceiling. It can be hard to find things sometimes, but I usually know exactly where everything is buried. It gets hot in the afternoons, so I keep a small fan behind the counter. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy displays. Most people just find us because they live in Ashwini Society or they walk past us every day on their way to the station. It is a simple business. I talk to the customers about their day, sell them what they need, and keep the shop tidy when I can. It’s a busy life on Station Road, but I like the rhythm of it.
