In Kumbhoj, things are pretty straightforward. Our foundation is right there at House Number 3480. If you ask anyone in the Taluka or around Kolhapur, they can probably point you toward us. We are just a group of people from the village who wanted to do something useful. It’s not a corporate office. It’s more like a house where we keep our stuff and meet up. The walls are a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we don't mind that much. We spend a lot of time talking to the farmers and the families living nearby. Sometimes the work is just helping someone fill out a form or making a few phone calls to get things moving. We don't have a big budget or anything, just our time and a bit of effort. Most of our members have their own jobs too, so we meet up when we can, usually in the late afternoon. It gets loud when everyone is there at once, but it’s a good kind of loud. We don't have a website with fancy photos. If you want to know what we are doing, you just have to come by and see. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and it feels like home. We just try to help out where we can without making a big fuss about it. That is how we like to operate, keeping things simple and local for everyone in our community.
