Our location here at B-87 in the Officer’s Quarters of Beml Nagar is a bit different than the main factory floors. We are situated in the Kolar Gold Field area, which has a lot of history. This particular spot is more about the residential and administrative side of things for the staff. It’s a quiet area compared to where the actual heavy machinery is built. You’ll see a lot of trees and old buildings around here. We handle a lot of the local coordination and housing matters from this office. It’s not a place where we keep tractors or earth movers; it’s more about the people who work with them. The building itself has that old-school look that you find in many government or semi-government townships. We have a few desks, a very old filing cabinet that squeaks, and a ceiling fan that has seen better days. People stop by to drop off paperwork or just to ask a quick question about the quarters. It’s a steady pace of life. We don’t use any corporate jargon here because everyone knows each other. We just try to keep things organized for the folks living in the colony. It’s a simple setup that helps keep the whole operation running smoothly behind the scenes. We like the quiet here, even if the work never really stops. On rainy days, the smell of the wet earth is really special in this part of KGF.
