Suresh Sejpal & Co.

Suresh Sejpal & Co. has been over here at 7/654 in Jewtown for a good while now. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly narrow streets and old buildings, and we are tucked right in there near the post box 284. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done every day. We usually start early before the tourists show up because once they do, the whole place changes. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people on the phone, really. Some of the guys have been working here for years, so we all just know what needs doing without having to talk about it too much. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they have character, I guess. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly just keeping things moving through the port and handling the daily chores of a trading house. It’s quiet in the mornings, just the sound of the shutters opening up and the smell of the old wood in the office. Sometimes someone brings in tea and we take a minute to drink it before the phones start ringing again. People stop by sometimes just to say hello or drop off a letter. It isn’t like those modern offices you see in the city center with glass walls and bright lights. We just sit at our desks, do the filing, and make sure the accounts stay straight. It’s a simple way to spend the day.
