Strawberry Tots

We are located at Mra Plot No77 in Mavelipuram, right near the Olimughal Mosque in Kakkanad West. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re in this part of Ernakulam. The school is basically a house that we’ve turned into a space for the kids. It’s got bright colors on the walls, and there are always toys scattered around the floor by noon. You can hear the mosque nearby, which is a familiar sound for everyone around here. The mornings are always a bit chaotic with parents dropping off their little ones and kids crying or running around. We spend a lot of time wiping sticky fingers and helping with shoes. It’s not a high-tech facility with tablets and screens. We mostly just have blocks, books, and some space to play. The weather in Ernakulam can be a bit much, so we spend a lot of time indoors when it’s pouring rain outside. The staff here are just local people who like being around children. We drink a lot of tea in the small kitchen when the kids are napping. It’s a simple setup, really. There’s no big corporate board or anything like that. Just us, the kids, and the daily routine of snacks and naps in Mavelipuram. It’s been this way for a while now. We just try to keep things calm and make sure everyone is safe and fed.
