Sreeragam Gift Items And Kitchen Wares is located in the Sreerama Devasam complex on Layam Road. We’re quite close to the Chakkamkulangara Temple in Thripunithura, so we get a lot of people who are visiting the temple and then decide to stop in. The shop has a bit of everything. We have shelves full of kitchen stuff like pots and pans, and then another section for gift items. It’s a bit of a mix, but it seems to work for the people around here in Kochi. Thripunithura is a nice area with a lot of history, and we feel like we fit in well with the local vibe. The complex itself is older, which gives it a bit of character. We spend our time dusting off the gift boxes and rearranging the cookware to make room for new things. It gets quite busy during the festival seasons because of the temple nearby. You’ll hear the temple bells sometimes if the wind is right. We aren't a big department store, just a local shop where you can find a birthday present or a new frying pan. It’s mostly us and maybe a family member helping out on the busier days. The floor is tile and it’s easy to clean, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the road. We just do our work and talk to the regulars who come in for a chat.
