Spab Engineering

We’ve been running Spab Engineering for a while now here in Alappuza, right near the M.B ITC. It’s a busy spot and we usually have a lot going on with different metal projects. We mostly handle things people bring in that need fixing or some custom part that isn't easy to find. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place with our tools, some heavy machines, and plenty of iron scraps on the floor. Most days it’s just us working through the heat and making sure things get done. People find us because they know we’ve been at this Kallumala location for years. We do a lot of welding and cutting, and sometimes it gets pretty loud around here. If you walk past, you'll see us covered in dust or grease, just trying to get through the orders. It’s practical work. We don't have a big office or anything, just the workspace where the actual labor happens. We know the neighbors and the people from the college nearby quite well. Sometimes a job takes longer if the material is tough, but that’s just how engineering goes. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. We just focus on the metal and making sure it fits where it's supposed to. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do every day. We just keep our heads down and work.
