Sandnfin Trading Co.

Sandnfin Trading Co. is located right across from the Polytechnic in North Kalamassery. It is a very busy spot because of all the students. You see them walking by all day in their uniforms, talking and laughing between classes. Sometimes I wish I was back in school myself, but then I remember how much I hated the exams. Trading is a different kind of stress altogether. We deal with all sorts of different items here and the inventory changes a lot. The warehouse gets quite stuffy in the summer months. I try to keep the windows open, but the Kalamassery air is thick and humid. We have boxes piled up to the ceiling sometimes which makes it hard to see. Finding one specific order can take half an hour if I did not put it in exactly the right spot. My ledger is getting old and the pages are starting to curl at the corners from the moisture. I keep a small radio on the shelf, usually playing some local station just for background noise. It helps pass the time when I am doing the monthly accounts. The neighbors are good people, mostly other small shops like ours. We share news about the road repairs or when the electricity is going to go out. North Kalamassery has changed a lot since I started here. There is more traffic and more noise, but the people are still mostly the same.
