Quality Bags

Quality Bags is basically run out of Mathirappilly House, over here in ERA-134. We are quite close to the Manjummel Church, so most locals use that as a landmark to find us. It isn't a big retail showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a local setup where we handle everything ourselves. We have different kinds of bags piled up, from simple cloth ones to more heavy-duty stuff. Living and working in Manjummel means we see the same faces a lot. The shop area is just a part of the house property really. We spend a lot of time checking handles and stitching to make sure everything is alright before it goes out. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with packing materials and boxes lying around the floor. It’s just me and a bit of help from the family occasionally. We don't have fancy lights or big signs. If you walk past the church and look for ERA-134, you'll find us easily enough. People come by for school bags mostly, or sometimes for a new backpack when the old one finally gives up. We keep things pretty casual here. There is no dress code or scripted talk. We just show you what we have in stock and let you decide for yourself. It’s an honest way to make a living in a nice neighborhood like Manjummel. The work is steady and it keeps us busy through the week.
