Premier Fastners

We’ve been here at 43/636 near Cemetery Junction on Chittoor Road for a good number of years now. If you are driving past the junction, you probably see our sign. Premier Fastners is mostly just stacks of boxes and bins filled with all kinds of nuts, bolts, and screws. It gets a bit crowded inside especially when a big delivery comes in and we have to find space on the shelves. Most days it is just us helping people who need a specific size for a repair at home or a project they are working on. We don't really do anything fancy here. We just make sure we have the stock people ask for. Chittoor Road stays busy so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Sometimes people get lost looking for the junction but once they find us, they usually come back when they need more hardware. It is a simple setup with a lot of heavy metal items everywhere. We spend a lot of time counting out pieces and putting them in small bags. It is repetitive work but it keeps the shop running. The building itself is older and has its quirks, like the light switches that act up sometimes. We just deal with it and keep going. If you need a bolt that isn't a standard size, we usually have to dig through the back room for a bit. It’s not a shiny showroom, just a place where we keep the things that hold other things together. We aren't trying to impress anyone, we just want to get the right parts into people's hands.
