Beersheba Bibles Books

Beersheba Bibles Books is over on M. K. K. Nair Road in Palarivattom. We are very close to St. Martin Church, which is handy for people coming from the services or just walking through the neighborhood. Our shop is full of books and bibles, as you might guess from the name. It has that specific smell of old and new paper that most bookshops have. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, so we often have to use a little wooden stool to reach the top ones for customers. It is usually pretty quiet in here, which we like. We spend our time dusting the covers and helping people find specific versions of things they are looking for. It is not a high-pressure environment at all. We have a few chairs for people to sit if they need to look through a book before deciding. Sometimes we get shipments that come in big heavy boxes and we have to clear a space on the floor to unpack them, which makes the shop look messy for a few hours. We have been part of this Palarivattom neighborhood for quite some time. The floor is a bit worn from people walking in, but it gives the place some character. We just stay here and keep the shelves stocked for whoever needs something to read or a gift for someone at the church. It is a peaceful way to spend our days on M. K. K. Nair Road.
