I Care- Computer Services

We are located right in Ernakulam, mostly fixing laptops and desktops that people bring in. It's a small shop, usually filled with the sound of fans whirring and screwdrivers clicking on the tables. I Care- Computer Services started because we were good with electronics and noticed people needed help with their broken screens or slow hard drives. We don't have a giant showroom. Most of the space is taken up by workbenches and piles of spare parts we’ve collected over time. Sometimes we get a computer that is so old we have to hunt for parts in the back room for hours. It’s satisfying when we finally get a machine to beep back to life. The city is fast, but we try to take our time with each repair so we don't miss anything important. We get a lot of students and office workers dropping off their gear. We aren't tech geniuses from a movie, just guys who know how to solder and install software. Sometimes the shop is a mess of wires, and we have to move stuff around just to find a place for someone to sit while they wait. We don't talk in technical jargon if we can help it. We just tell people what is wrong and how long it might take to fix it. It’s honest work. We stay open late most nights because that's when people realize their computer isn't working for the next morning.
