Arafa Trading Company

We are based at 12/1001 B. It’s just a simple number on a door, really. Arafa Trading Company started out small and stayed that way. We don't see the need for a huge warehouse when this space works for what we do. Dealing with trade means a lot of waiting around for shipments to arrive. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where things are. It can be frustrating when things get stuck at the port, but that’s just part of the job. Most of us here have known each other for a long time. It feels more like a family than a business. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat. There’s a small fan in the corner that barely does anything, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy website or a social media person. If you want to talk to us, you just call or stop by. We handle all sorts of goods, whatever people are looking for. Sometimes the office is a mess with samples and boxes everywhere. We try to tidy up on Fridays but it never lasts long. It’s a bit chaotic but we know where everything is. That’s what matters at the end of the day. Trading isn't always exciting, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. It's just our way of getting by and keeping things moving along as best as we can.
