Uras Garments Private Limited

Uras Garments is located at Plot No 217 in Sahid Nagar. We’ve been here in Bhubaneswar for a while now. Sahid Nagar is a busy place, so there’s always something going on outside our door. Our building is a bit older, but it fits all our sewing machines and the cutting tables just fine. We make different kinds of garments. It’s a lot of cutting, stitching, and checking for loose threads. The floor is usually covered in small scraps of fabric by the end of the day. We have a small team of workers who have been with us for years. We aren't a corporate giant with a HR department and fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle in the corner and a stack of registers to keep track of everything. The 751007 area is good for us because it’s central. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to stop the machines, which is annoying, but we just wait it out and talk. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. It’s a practical business. We show up, do the work, and go home. That’s how we’ve always done it here. The iron gets too hot sometimes, and the radio plays local songs while we work through the afternoon.
