Gayatri Ganguram

Our shop is on Plot No 436 in Nayapalli, which is a well-known part of Bhubaneshwar. We are really close to the Akandalamani Temple, so we get to hear the prayers and see the crowds on festival days. Being near Nuasahi Nayapalli makes it easy for people in the neighborhood to find us. The pin code here is 751012. We are mostly known for our sweets and snacks, as is the tradition with the Ganguram name. The shop itself is quite simple. We have the glass counters where we keep everything and a few places where people can stand and eat. It’s not a big fancy restaurant, just a local sweet shop. I spend my days checking the batches of sweets and making sure we have enough for the evening rush. The area around the temple can get very crowded, especially in the evenings, but that’s when we are busiest. We have a lot of regular customers who come by after work to take something home for their kids. We don't really do any fancy advertising. We just put the food out and people come in because they know where we are. It’s a local spot where the staff knows most of the faces that walk through the door. We just try to keep everything fresh and the shop clean. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way in this part of Bhubaneshwar.
