Sri Madan Mohandev Sports & Verity Store(Opc) Private Limited is our little shop located in Malud. We are registered under Kamini Das’s name in the Krushnaprasad area. It is a one-person company, but the whole family usually ends up helping out one way or another. We sell sports gear and all sorts of other variety items that people in the village need. It’s a simple store. We don't have fancy displays or air conditioning. We just have shelves full of balls, bats, and everyday things. Malud is a nice place to be, and everyone knows everyone else. We spend our days chatting with neighbors who come in to buy a few things. Sometimes we sit outside when it’s not too hot. We aren't trying to compete with the big malls in the cities. We just want to provide what the local kids and families need. Being in Krushnaprasad means we are a bit far from the main hubs, so we try to keep a good stock of everything. It can be hard to get new supplies delivered all the way out here sometimes. We just take it day by day. The store is named after the deity and we try to run it fairly. It’s a modest business but it keeps us going and serves the community. We’ve been at this for a while and don't plan on changing much about how we do things here.
