You can find us over at Plot No-7798 in Gajapati Nagar. We are right near the Sainik School area in Bhubaneswar. It is a busy part of town and we like being right in the middle of all that activity. Our name is Michaels Culinary & Hotels Services Private Limited, but to most of the people who live around here, we are just the folks who handle the food and the rooms. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area trying to get the recipes just right. Cooking for a lot of people is not as simple as it looks on the television. There is a lot of chopping, cleaning, and making sure the stoves are hot enough. Then there is the hotel side of things. We spend hours checking linens and making sure the floors are swept properly. Sometimes the humidity in Orissa makes everything feel a bit heavy and slow, but we keep the fans going and get the work done anyway. We have been at this for a bit now, and we have learned that things rarely go perfectly according to the plan. A delivery might be late or a lightbulb might blow out right when you do not want it to. We just handle it as it comes. We are not trying to be the fanciest place in Khordha, we just want to do our jobs and go home at the end of the day knowing the guests were fed and comfortable.
