Knit And Knot Fashion Private Limited is based at Plot Number 421/2358 in Padmabati Vihar, which is part of Sailashree Vihar. It’s a nice residential neighborhood, and our workspace is right in the middle of it. We do a lot of knitting and knotting work, hence the name we picked. It’s a small operation, and we like keeping it that way because it’s easier to manage. Most of our days are spent surrounded by yarn and needles and different types of thread. We don't have a big storefront, so most of our work happens behind the scenes. Sailashree Vihar is a quiet place, which is good for when you need to concentrate on tricky patterns. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello. We don't have a formal mission statement or anything like that. We just wake up, have our coffee, and start on the day's projects. It’s a lot of manual work, and our fingers get tired, but that’s part of the trade. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the local shops where we can get a quick snack. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making clothes and accessories. It’s a practical business run by people who enjoy working with their hands. We just try to stay organized and keep the orders moving out the door without too many mistakes.
