So, we are located right on Chakratirtha Road in Puri. If you’ve been to the sea beach here, you probably know the area. It’s a busy spot, especially during the holidays when everyone wants to be near the water. We have been here for a good number of years. The breeze from the sea comes in, which is nice in the evenings when it gets hot. Being at the beach means there’s always sand around, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just how it is living by the ocean. Most folks who come to stay are here for the temple or just to sit by the waves for a couple of days. We see a lot of families, especially during the festival times. The road outside can get pretty crowded with rickshaws and people walking down to the shore. We aren’t a giant chain or anything like that. It’s just a local place where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the salt air is tough on the building, so there is always some maintenance work going on somewhere. We just try to make sure guests have a place to sleep after a long day at the beach or visiting the Jagannath temple. It’s a basic life here, focused on the seasons and the tides. We hope people find what they need when they stop by. It's just us doing our thing by the sea, day in and day out.
