Civi Mech

Our place is located in Pokhariput village, not too far from the Bhubaneswar airport. You can often hear the planes taking off while we are working on whatever mechanical or civil job is on the list for that day. It's a busy part of the Khorda district, and we’ve been part of the landscape here for some time. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find a few of us in dusty clothes trying to figure out a technical problem or moving some heavy equipment around. The heat in Odisha can be tough, but we just get on with it. Sometimes we have to run into town for supplies, but mostly we stay right here in the village. It’s a practical way to run things. We handle a mix of tasks, mostly involving metal and construction basics. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right so it stays fixed. If you come by, you might have to look for the sign, as it’s a bit faded from the sun. We know the neighbors and they know what we do. It’s a straightforward life. We start early when it’s still a bit cool and keep going until the light fades. That’s how Civi Mech operates. No big fuss, just plenty of regular work that needs doing every single morning.
