Om Leisure Resort Puri

Our location is in the Baliapanda Housing Board area of Puri. It is a bit away from the main temple rush which is nice because it stays a little quieter over here. Om Leisure Resort Puri is basically a collection of rooms and some open space where we try to keep the grass green despite the salty air from the ocean. Working near the coast means everything gets rusty very fast so we are constantly painting railings or fixing locks. The humidity is always high and that makes every job feel a bit harder. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing. If the kitchen is busy the front desk person might go back and help wash dishes. It is that kind of place. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big polished lobby. It is more about having a roof over your head and a place to rest after walking on the beach. The Housing Board area has its own rhythm and we are just a part of that neighborhood. Sometimes the water pressure is low when everyone tries to shower at the same time and we have to go out and check the pumps. We just do our best to keep things functional and clean. It is a simple operation and we like it that way. Most of our days are spent just keeping up with the sand that gets everywhere.
