Our office is over in B.J.B. Nagar, specifically in one of the flats there. It’s in the Khurda district of Orissa. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the files and equipment, but we make it work. Being in a residential area means we have to be respectful of the people living around us. We deal with the engineering and management side of power distribution. There is always a lot of paperwork involved in this business. We have to keep track of every nut and bolt sometimes. Our staff is a small group of dedicated people who don’t mind the cramped quarters. We usually start early before the traffic in Bhubaneswar gets too bad. The work is steady and requires a lot of attention to detail. We aren't the kind of company that puts out big glossy brochures. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they need specific technical help with the power grid. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we moved in. More houses, more people, and definitely more demand for electricity. We just keep our heads down and do the jobs that come our way. It’s a practical life. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay organized. If you’re looking for us, look for the flat number; we don’t have a big neon sign out front. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors, but they usually just bring it over. It’s that kind of place. We have some heavy equipment stored in the corner that we probably should move, but it’s been there so long it feels like part of the room now.
