Our little spot is located at Plot - 15 in the Narendra Gardens area, over in Jagamara. It is mostly where we keep all the heavy equipment and handle the bits of paperwork for the building machines we deal with. The yard is usually full of big metal parts and various frames waiting to be moved. We spend a lot of our time either on the phone or out in the back checking on the current inventory. It is not exactly the quietest neighborhood around here, but we have all gotten used to the noise over the years. Most of the guys working here have been around these machines for a long time, so they really know the various quirks of the different models we stock. We do not really have a big, fancy showroom for people to walk through. It is more of a functional, gritty space where things get shifted around by the crane whenever needed. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on the plot, which makes the metal pieces almost too hot to touch without thick gloves. We have a tiny room with a desk and some old chairs where we drink tea and talk about the day's schedule. People occasionally stop by to ask about certain spare parts or just to see what we actually have sitting in the yard. It is a very straightforward operation. We deal with heavy machinery, so things can get a bit messy with grease and oil.
