Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited

Up in Bhubneshwar, we have our spot at B-19 in the Nandadevi VIP Enclave. It’s in Chandrasekharpur, which is a decent part of town. This is more of an administrative side of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited compared to the actual plants. It’s a regular house-turned-office sort of vibe, nothing too fancy or intimidating. We’ve got desks, some old cupboards full of records, and a tea kettle that’s always on. People come in to discuss logistics or sort out the billing. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in ledgers. We aren’t trying to be some high-tech startup; we’re just a bunch of people managing the business side of things. Outside, the enclave is fairly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on numbers. We see the same people every day, and we know the delivery guys by name. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just wait it out or take a break. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to stay organized. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything, just the address and our work. It feels more like a home than an office most days, which suits us just fine. There's a mango tree in the yard that gives some nice shade during the hot afternoons, and we often find ourselves standing under it to chat. It makes the workday go by much faster for everyone.
