Laxmi Internationl Exports

Our place is on the Nadiad-Petlad Road, right opposite the Vatav bus stop. It is a convenient location because the buses stop right there, though the traffic can be quite loud throughout the afternoon. At Laxmi Internationl Exports, we handle a lot of shipping and packing. The warehouse is a big open space where we keep crates and wooden boxes ready to go. We deal with a variety of goods that need to head out to different places across the region. Some days are very quiet and we just catch up on cleaning or fixing the old pallets. Other days, three trucks show up at once and everyone has to move fast to get things loaded up. We don't use a lot of fancy computers for everything; a lot of the inventory is still written down in paper registers. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we handle the customs documents. It is mostly about making sure the quantities are right and the labels are stuck on properly. We have been at this spot for several years and the locals know us well. We don't really do much to promote ourselves or find new business. The work just comes in and we get it done. It is a practical business. We focus on the crates, the trucks, and making sure the orders leave on time.
