Dev Gems

Dev Gems is tucked away in the Navrangpura area of Ahmedabad. We are at 201 in the Onyx Nar Rajhans Society. It is a nice enough building, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below. Navrangpura is always moving, but inside the society, it is a bit more controlled. Since we deal with gems, we have to keep things organized and tidy. It is not a massive showroom with lights everywhere. Instead, it is more of a workspace where we look at stones and handle the paperwork that goes with it. We usually start the day by checking what arrived the day before. The light in the office is pretty good, which helps when you are looking at small things all day. Most of us have been working with jewelry and stones for years, so it is just second nature now. Sometimes customers come by to see something specific, and we sit around the main table to talk. It is a quiet kind of work, but it requires a lot of focus. We do not have any big flashy signs outside, just the name on the door like everyone else in the building. It is a professional but simple setup where we just focus on the quality of the gems we have in front of us every day. We just do our job and go home.
