Scholars Den Higher Secondary School

Our school is located in Anand Nagar, right here in Khandwa. It is a neighborhood where people mostly know their neighbors, and we have become a part of that over the years. We are a higher secondary school, so we see a lot of older kids coming through our gates. The building itself is pretty simple. It isn't one of those new glass and steel structures you see in the big cities. We have regular classrooms with wooden benches and plenty of windows to let in the air. Khandwa gets very hot during the peak of summer, so we rely on big ceiling fans to keep everyone from melting. The street outside in Anand Nagar gets very busy in the mornings and afternoons. You have all the parents on their scooters and the kids walking in groups. It can be a bit of a mess for a few minutes, but we manage. Inside, the walls are covered with student work and some old charts. The office is usually cluttered with registers and files because there is always some paperwork to finish. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the teaching. Parents come by to talk about how their kids are doing, and we usually know them by name. It is a practical, local school. We do our work, the kids learn their lessons, and then we head home. That is how it goes for us.
