Makhanlal Chaturvedi Govt. Girls P.G. College Khandwa

The sun hits the walls of Makhanlal Chaturvedi Govt. Girls P.G. College early in the morning, and that’s when we usually start our day here in Khandwa. Being a government college, things move at a certain pace. We have students coming in from all over the district, some taking long bus rides just to get to their classes. The building itself has that typical look of many institutions in Madhya Pradesh, with wide corridors and high ceilings that help a bit with the heat. We spend a lot of time sorting out paperwork in the office or helping the girls find their way to the right lecture hall. It’s a busy place, especially during exam season or when new admissions start. You can always hear the chatter of students in the hallways between periods. We don't have any fancy stuff here, just the classrooms, the library, and the common areas where everyone hangs out. It’s about getting through the syllabus and making sure the college runs as smoothly as it can. Khandwa is a tight-knit place, so many of us have been working here for years. We know the local shopkeepers outside the gates and the people who live nearby. It’s a practical environment. We don’t try to be anything we’re not; we’re just here to provide a place for these young women to study and get their degrees.
