Patel Trading

Patel Trading is located over on Nakim Road in the Kanswali Ward. We’re right in the Ankur Nagar area. It’s a place where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. We’ve been in this building for a long time. It’s got a bit of wear and tear, but it’s home for the business. We deal with trading various goods, so the space is often filled with boxes and crates. It can get a little disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we eventually get it all sorted out. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the items are ready. The windows stay open most of the year to let a breeze in, though it brings in some dust from Nakim Road. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the accounts. It’s nothing spectacular to look at. We just show up every morning and get to work. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to say hello or ask for a bit of help with something. We like being part of this community. It feels like a real place, not some sterile office building in a city. We keep our prices fair and our word solid. That’s how we’ve always done things here in Ankur Nagar. It is just a plain, simple way to make a living.
