Swachha Purified Drinking Water

We run Swachha Purified Drinking Water from Hno 4-60 in Aalapadu village. This is in the Bonakalu Mandal. We have the purification machines set up here and they make a steady humming sound all day long. Our main job is to fill up the water cans and get them ready for people who need them. It is wet work and we are often wearing boots because of the water on the floor. We spend a lot of time cleaning the containers and checking the filters to make sure they are working right. The village is small and we know exactly who needs water on which day. We load the cans onto the back of the vehicle and head out for deliveries. It is a physical job and our backs get tired from lifting the heavy cans all the time. The office part is just a small corner with a table where we keep track of the deliveries and money. We don't have fancy uniforms or big signs. People in Aalapadu know where we are and they just stop by if they need an extra can. Sometimes the machines need repairs and that takes up a whole afternoon of tinkering. We just want to make sure the water is clean and the cans are full. It is a simple but necessary job for our village. We just keep going one day at a time without much fuss.
