Sri Venkateshwara Water Plant

The Sri Venkateshwara Water Plant is located at House Number 5-1-130 in Babu Camp. This is over in the Badavat Thanda area of Chuchupalli, near Kothagudem. We run the purification machines every day to make sure there is enough water for everyone who needs it. It is a noisy place because the pumps and filters are always running. The air inside the plant is usually a bit damp and cool compared to the heat outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning the containers and making sure the seals are tight. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary work for the local community. People come by with their empty cans or we arrange to get them delivered around the neighborhood. The yard is usually filled with blue plastic cans waiting to be filled or loaded onto a trolley. We have been here for some time and we know the routine like the back of our hand. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around to get things started again. It is a simple operation and we do not have a big office or a fancy reception area. Just a place where the machines do their work and we keep an eye on everything. We focus on the daily task of filling those cans and keeping the equipment running smoothly for the people around Babu Camp.
