Sri Sangameswara Vermi Compost

Our place is at House Number 1-185 in Gundala Thanda Village. We are located right in the heart of the Khammam Rural Mandal here in Telangana. It is a small village where everyone knows everyone else. Sri Sangameswara Vermi Compost is run right out of our local area, and we take pride in the way we handle our daily chores. The process of making compost takes a lot of patience. You can't rush the worms or the weather. Most days, you will find us out back, tending to the long rows of organic material. The sun beats down on the village, but we try to keep our working area under some shade. It is a quiet existence, away from the noise of the city. We have lived here for a long time, and the land is very familiar to us. The work involves a lot of lifting and turning of the soil, so it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat while we are working on the pits. We don't have any big machinery or high-tech systems; it is mostly manual work and keeping a close eye on the temperature of the beds. The village of Gundala Thanda is a good place to be, and we are just one part of the farming community here. Every bag we fill is the result of many weeks of waiting and watching the natural process happen in its own time.
