Sri Balaji Xerox Center

Out here in Khammam, specifically in the Bhurhanpuram area, things can get pretty busy at the Sri Balaji Xerox Center. Our shop at H. No. 1-17 is usually a hub for students and people from the local offices who need copies or printouts. The machines are almost always running, and they make that steady humming sound all day long. Sometimes a machine jams or runs out of toner right when there is a line of people waiting, and those are the moments that keep us on our toes. We have stacks of paper everywhere and the smell of warm ink is always around. Khammam Urban Mandal is a place where everyone seems to be in a rush, especially in the mornings when exams are coming up. We handle a lot of different documents, from simple ID copies to long reports. We don't have a big staff, so we end up doing everything ourselves, from cutting paper to stapling bundles. The shop is small and can get quite hot in the afternoon sun. We keep a fan going, but it only does so much. People stop by not just for copies but also to ask for directions or just to chat for a bit while they wait. It’s a simple business, really. We just try to keep the machines working and the paper stocked so no one has to wait too long. We have been here for some years now.
