Mangali Thanda School

This is Mangali Thanda School. We are located in Khammam, pin code 507001. It’s not in the middle of a big city, so things are a bit quieter here than elsewhere. The school is a simple building. We don’t have those huge glass windows or big playgrounds you see in movies. It’s mostly just bricks and some trees around. Khammam has its own pace of life. We follow that. The kids come from nearby areas. Most of them walk or come on cycles. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait for it to come back. That's common here. We don't have a big office or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, it's just one of us sitting near the entrance. The address is short, just Khammam, but everyone knows where the thanda is. It's a small community. We see the same parents every week. The building needs a bit of paint every few years, and we do it when we can. It’s a basic place for learning. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a school in a quiet corner of the district. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the land itself. Not much changes day to day, and we are okay with that. It is just a plain school for the children in our area.
