Keranam Shop

This shop is located on the main road in Komararam. It is a small place where we keep the things people in Yellandu need every day. We open early in the morning and stay open until quite late in the evening. You can find basic groceries, some snacks, and other household items on our shelves. It is not a huge supermarket, just a local keranam shop where everyone knows each other. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery truck does not show up on time from the city. We try our best to keep everything in stock though. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in. We have been here at 1-141 for several years now. It gets busy during the festival times when everyone is buying supplies for their homes. We talk to our customers about their families and what is happening in the village while we weigh out their rice or pulses. It is a simple life running a shop like this. We do not have any workers, it is just us family members taking turns behind the counter. We do not do any big advertising. People just know we are here on the main road. We like being part of the community and seeing the same faces every day. It feels good to provide the things people need without them having to travel too far. We just want to keep the shelves full and the shop running smoothly for everyone who stops by.
