Jai Matha Om Sai Ramana Rice Industry

Our rice industry is set up at Plot No.56/14 in Buddaram Village. It's quite close to Appajipeta, so people from around there find us easily enough. Being in a village means we're right where the crops are grown, which makes things a bit easier for everyone. We handle a lot of rice throughout the year. The building is basic, just a place for the machinery and the storage of bags. We don't have much of a front office, mostly just the workspace where the actual milling happens. It gets pretty loud when the engines are running full tilt. We’ve been at this for a while, and the routine is the same every season. We see the same farmers coming back with their loads, and we've got to know them well. The dust can get to you after a long shift, but we’re used to it. We don't bother with fancy slogans or anything. We just process the rice and get it ready for whoever is buying. Sometimes we have to fix a belt or clear a jam in the machines, which takes up time. It’s just us and the machines out here near Appajipeta. The road to the plot can get a bit muddy when it rains, but we manage. We’re just a small operation doing what needs to be done with the harvest. It’s steady work and keeps the local guys employed.
