Cons Chilly Cotton

Cons Chilly Cotton is based out of Amarsing Thanda, which is a small place in the Komararam area. Our address is 1-298/1-1, and it’s mostly just a yard and some rooms for storage. In this part of Yellandu, everything depends on the season. When the chillies are ready, the whole place smells spicy and everyone is busy drying them out in the sun. Then there is the cotton season where everything turns white with the fluff. We spend a lot of time weighing bags and talking to the people who bring the crops in. It’s dusty work, and the sun can be really hot out here in the Thanda. We don't have fancy office chairs, mostly just wooden stools and some old ledgers to keep track of things. The road getting here can be a bit bumpy depending on the rain. We handle both things, the chilly and the cotton, because that's what grows around here. It is just a local operation. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to wait around until dark. We’ve been in Komararam for a good while and everyone knows the spot. It’s not a corporate office, just a place where we do the work of collecting and moving these items. We try to keep the piles organized, but it gets messy when there is a lot of stuff coming in at once. We just do our best with what we have here every day and keep things moving as they come.
