We are located in Badal Pura, right here in the Matihani area of Begusarai. It is a quiet place where most of us have grown up. Naturehills Farmers Producer Company Limited started because we wanted a way to manage our work together. We spend most of our mornings checking on the fields and seeing what needs to be done. Sometimes the roads are a bit dusty and the office gets messy, but that is just how it is when you are working with the land. We handle different kinds of crops depending on the time of year. There are about five or six of us who stay in the office mostly, but the real work happens outside. Our address is Vill + Post- Badal Pura, and people usually find us easily if they know the local landmarks. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big glass building. It’s just a simple room where we keep our papers and talk about the prices. Dealing with the weather is the hardest part. Last year the rain was late and it made everything difficult for the people here. We try to help out by organizing how we sell things so nobody gets left behind. It’s not easy work but it is what we know. We have been in Bihar for a long time and our families are all here too. Sometimes we drink tea and discuss the next harvest for hours. That is just how life goes in Begusarai.
