Star Bricks

We are located in Inkunda, just behind the Jumpura Police Station. It's a quiet enough spot until the machines start up in the morning. Star Bricks is mostly just a big open yard where we stack everything. We spend most of our time out there in the heat, moving heavy blocks around. If you come by, you’ll see the piles of red bricks waiting to go out. We started this because there was a need for materials in the area. Making bricks isn't magic, it's just a lot of mud, water, and fire. Sometimes the batches come out a little different depending on the soil we get that month. We do our best to keep them solid. My cousin works the kiln and I mostly deal with the drivers who come to pick up loads. It gets pretty loud when the trucks are backing in. We don't have a receptionist, so if you show up, just look for whoever is covered in dust. That’s usually me. We try to keep a good stock ready because people get annoyed if they have to wait for bricks to dry. It's a basic business. We work when the sun is up and go home when it's dark. Being near the police station makes it easy for people to find us if they haven't been here before. We just keep our heads down and get through the day's orders without making a big fuss about anything.
