We are based out of the Paradeep Lock area in Jagatsinghpur. Specifically, you can find our office at Prasad Samantray's place in Biswali, Bhutamundai. It is a bit of a different pace out here compared to the bigger cities. We deal with engineering and construction tasks. The air smells a bit like the sea sometimes when the wind blows from the right direction. Our day usually starts quite early because we like to get things done before the afternoon heat becomes too much to handle. The office is a simple room with some chairs and a large desk where we keep all our plans. We don't have a big staff, just a few local guys who know the area well. We spend a lot of time out in the field, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. When we are there, we are usually catching up on paperwork or talking to people from the village who stop by to chat. There isn't any corporate polish here. We wear boots and dusty clothes most of the time. It is just how the work is. We have been part of this community for a long time. People know they can come to us if they have questions about a project. We don't use big words or fancy talk; we just explain things as they are. It is a quiet, steady life working in Jagatsinghpur.
