Jagdamb Traders

You can find Jagdamb Traders right in the Main Market of Sri Kanthapur. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know how loud and busy it can get. There are bikes everywhere and people shouting about prices. We are right in the thick of it. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of whatever we are trading that week. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving crates around. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The Main Market is the heart of the town, so everyone passes by at some point. We see the same regulars every morning. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just talk to people face to face. It's the old way of doing things, and it works for us. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things out on the pavement for a few hours. No one seems to mind much. Sri Kanthapur is a small place where news travels fast. If we do a good job, people tell their cousins. That’s how we keep going. The rain can be a problem sometimes because the market street gets muddy, but we just put some planks down. It’s just how it is. We are part of the daily rhythm of this town. Every day is different, but the market stays the same. We like the hustle.
