Makkhans Restaurant

Makkhans Restaurant is located at 39/41, Meera Patti, along the G T Road in Allahabad. We are right in the Transport Nagar area, which stays busy with trucks and traders. You can find us near the Sabji Mandi. Because of the market nearby, there is always a lot of activity and noise from early in the morning. We started this place to serve the people who work around the transport hub and the local residents. The restaurant isn't very big, and the interior is quite plain. We use simple wooden tables and chairs. The kitchen is always on the go, especially during the afternoon when the market people take their breaks. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on G T Road, but we try to keep up with the cleaning. Our staff consists of a few local guys who know how to handle the rush. We don't have a complicated menu or anything. We just cook what people like to eat daily. It’s a bit loud sometimes with the trucks honking outside, but that’s just life in Transport Nagar. We’ve been here at Meera Patti for some time now and most of our customers are regulars who know us by name. It’s a straightforward eating joint for anyone passing through this side of Allahabad. We just keep our heads down and work till we close at night.
