Kaushambi Kisan Producer Company Limited is located at 368 K Sarsawan, right here in the Kaushambi district. We aren't in a big industrial area or anything like that, just a regular spot in Sarsawan where we can get together. We are a collective of farmers who wanted to take things into our own hands. In this part of Uttar Pradesh, everyone is connected to the land in some way. We handle a variety of local produce and try to help each other get the right supplies. It’s not a polished business with a marketing team. If you call us, you’ll probably hear the sounds of the village in the background. We have our fair share of problems, like when the transport is late or the weather doesn't cooperate, but that’s just life here. We don't spend much time worrying about how we look to the outside world. Our focus is on the people who are actually planting the seeds and harvesting the grain. The office at 368 K is where we sit down to figure out the numbers, which isn't always our favorite thing to do, but it’s necessary. We are just a group of people from Sarsawan trying to keep the farming community strong. We don't have big ambitions of being a giant corporation; we just want to make sure the farmers around here can keep their heads above water and support their families.
